To keep costs low, and the studio and staff Covid Safe, we are now predominantly Self Service. If this is not suitable for you we offer Full Service for an extra $150 per day or evening session.

Our beautiful and quirky self service rooms are perfect for small gatherings such as baby showers and bridal showers. PLEASE NOTE WE NO LONGER ALLOW LARGE EVENTS SUCH AS BIRTHDAY PARTIES, ENGAGEMENTS, WEDDINGS AND BUCKS PARTIES.

Our studio rooms are available 7 days a week. The day session runs from 7am til 5pm (6PM ON FRI & SAT) and the evening session (N/A ON FRI & SAT NIGHTS) from 5.30pm til 10pm.

You are welcome to BYO drinks, food and decorations. Yes, blu tac and confetti are ok!

Catering. We recommend ordering via a local Surry Hills start-up ‘Caterfrom’ which supports our mates at small local cafes, but you are welcome to use your own caterer if you wish.

Things to note to ensure all our guests are comfortable:

  • Dog friendly so please ensure your guests know this as we have regular pets at the studio.

  • Access is via a staircase, we are on the first and second floor, so we may not be suitable for guests with physical disabilities/limitations.

  • If any of your guests experience hyperacusis (reduced tolerance to sound) please be aware we are in the middle of bustling Surry Hills and on the light rail track, so there can be some street noise. Ear buds/headphones are recommended for these guests.

Space hire details

Self service:

No staff on-site, contact-free self service.

  • We will give you the code to get in the front door and how to find your room.

  • Full instructions with wifi and bluetooth speaker passwords etc will be provided after full payment.

  • Help yourself to tea/coffee and chilled water from the shared kitchen. Please put all used water glasses and mugs in the dishwasher before you leave.

  • Glassware, crockery and cutlery hire available for up to 20 pax - $129 including washing up.

  • You are welcome to move the tables and use the extra chairs available. Please return the furniture to the original position before you leave.

  • Please place all rubbish in the rubbish bins, turn off the lights and close the front door when you leave.

Full service - $150 extra:

A fully vaccinated staff member will meet you at the studio at a time convenient for you and return after you leave, to tidy up. Please note, they will not be on-site throughout the whole session. If you need on-site support throughout the entire session please contact us for a quote.

  • They will let you into the studio and set-up the room in your desired configuration including chilled water and glasses on the table.

  • Assist you to connect to the wifi, TV and air-con.

  • The staff member will also tidy up the room and kitchen after you leave, including washing up dishes and placing rubbish in the rubbish bins.

Sensory Sensitivities/Disabilities:

Bustle is a welcoming space for people with disabilities and their families. We’re providing kits, free of charge, which allow people with sensory sensitivities to participate in environments which may usually not be accessible. These kits help reduce barriers to access, providing a calming, quiet and safe environment so that everyone has a chance to get involved. Please let us know in advance if you would like us to provide any of these kits for your booking.

Payments: A 30% deposit is required to secure booking, remaining balance due four weeks prior to event. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
