Kokedamas - $80pp
A twist on indoor planting, this 1.5 hour workshop will guide participants on how to make and care for their own kokedama. It’s a plant wrapped in a moss ball, which can then be placed or hung to decorate the home or a protected outdoor patio.
Learn how to make your own as well as a decorative plant hanger for your moss ball.
Terrariums - $75pp
In this one hour class participants will learn the art of patience and the importance of start-to-finish processes with terrariums
Each layer of a terrarium is uniquely important, so patience and care is required. Participants will learn how to carefully choose and position plants and most importantly, how to keep it alive.
Terrariums can be themed with figurines – Studio Ghibli, Easter Woodland, Dryland Desert or Jurassic Jungle*
*Themed terrariums will incur $5 fee pp
About your teacher, Tammy
Workshops are carefully planned and presented by qualified horticulturist and landscape designer, Tammy Huynh, who is passionate about sharing the joy of gardening and the benefits of green spaces.
Tammy has over 10 years experience in horticulture, with her career beginning as an Assistant Gardening Editor for Better Homes and Gardens Magazine and most recently, as the Consumer Experience Team Leader at Yates.
Tammy has hosted various workshops, garden talks, Q&A panels. She thrives on seeing people discover the joy of gardening and hopes to impart a little green to everyone’s life – be it indoor or outdoor.
